ABOUT THE COURSE
Project Cycle Management is a five-day introductory course to project management in a humanitarian and development context. The course covers the basic concepts, terminology, and tools of project management used by NGOs.
During the course of this five-day workshop, you will develop an understanding of the principles and terminology of project management within the context of international development projects. The course will also prepare you to sit the examination to achieve Level 1 PMD certification from APMG International .
Project Management in Development (PMD Pro) is a three-level certification sequence developed by APMG International in partnership with Project Management for NGOs (PM4NGOs). RedR is authorised to deliver the PMD Pro programme through registration with Learning in NGOs (LINGOs), a consortium of over 55 international humanitarian relief, development, conservation and health organization.
Please note: the guide and examination for this course are available online and can be completed without classroom instruction. However, it is RedR’s experience that in-person participation in interactive courses greatly enhances comprehension of the material via peer discussion, group work and dynamic course leadership.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
