After successful completion of the previous workshops, Empower is now organizing another International Workshop on Strategic Sourcing of Pharmaceuticals**.**
The workshop will be delivered by global health leaders who support strategic sourcing of pharmaceuticals. It will help in identifying key factors to increase efficiency of day-to-day pharmaceutical procurement and related transactions such as assuring quality, long-term contracting, establishing framework contracts, market shaping, and supply chain infrastructure. This workshop is designed to assist organizations in achieving a reliable supply of quality-assured medicines at competitive prices
The participants go through a rapid and concerted course in which they understand the roles, benefits and application of strategic sourcing. The compilation of indispensable aspects such as risk management approach, reliable supply, identifying secure sources among other topics make this a highly impactful workshop. It is targeted at health professionals in public health programs (donors, government, private sector, NGOs, civil society, academia), public procurement officials and private sector importers and exporters.
